This year’s Iron Chef Tucson competition, presented by Stella Artois and E. W. Scripps Media, takes place Saturday, June 3 at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa from 11 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Two competitors will face off before a panel of 3 judges who sample their dishes, determining who will reign supreme and be crowned the 2017 winner.

The two talented contenders this year are executive chef Travis Peters of The Parish and Mama Louisa’s executive chef Michael Elefante.

Before the competition, you can eat your way through the day during the Culinary Experience. Featured demos from local and national culinary experts will be available, along with products to highlight your personal culinary experience. If that’s not enough to convince you, featured tastings from local restaurants will be spread throughout the event as well.

The Iron Chef Tucson competition unfolds like a fast-paced television show, including a surprise ingredient that’s revealed moments before the culinary clash begins.
