Oregon-based drive-thru coffee chain Dutch Bros Coffee announced plans to open its first Tucson location in early October.

The former Mimi’s Café at 120 S. Wilmot Rd. will be reconstructed as an 824-square-foot Dutch Bros Coffee, Real Estate Daily News reported.

Dutch Bros confirmed via email:

“We are scheduled for an early October opening. We will keep our social media updated on the grand opening specifics when we know. […]”

Dutch Bros currently has over 290 locations in seven states, 25 locations of which are in Arizona. Locations are either corporate-owned or franchise-owned. The company, known for its sociable and friendly baristas, was founded in 1992 by brothers Dane and Travis Boersma.

Keep up with Dutch Bros Arizona on Facebook for updates on the opening.
