Unless you’re Target (the big box store), you’ve probably waited until only recently to start making Valentine’s Day plans. Maybe you’re overwhelmed by all the options or don’t know where to look. Good news! This round-up is for you.

On Valentine’s Day, Commoner & Co. will have a special prix fixe dinner for two, complete with snacks, your choice of an entrée, and a dessert made to share. The Coronet will be serving a five-course prix fixe meal with champagne and optional wine pairings. There will be options for omnivores and vegetarians for each course (stay tuned for the menu). Seats are $140 per person or $200 with wine pairings.

“We’ll be offering a Prix Fixe menu, but a few selections from the February menu as well. We’ll do as we’ve been doing, which is to say that we’ll offer the regular February menu until 2 p.m. on the 14th, then we’ll retool the kitchen for our special menu service and start seating again at 4 p.m., seating until 9 p.m. with enough time for our guests to finish their repast in a liesurely manner, whereupon we’ll shut down again to reopen with the February menu again on Saturday morning.”

Prix Fixe menu is $90 plus tax and gratuity, and $75 for wine pairings.

On Friday, February 14, from 5 – 9 p.m., the Forty Niner Country Club is hosting a three-course Valentine’s Day dinner (with an optional wine pairing) for $70 per person. Plus, there’s live jazz by Joe Weinberg!

HighWire is hosting a Valentine’s Day-themed pop-up at 30 S. Arizona Ave. from Tuesday, January 28 – Monday, February 17. In addition to the limited-time cocktail menu, the entire space will be decorated from top to bottom with Valentine’s Day decor. If you could imagine what Cupid’s home would look like, it’s that times 10 right now until a few days after the lovey-dove holiday.

The historic hotel is hosting a Valentine’s burlesque show at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 14. Tickets are $20 the day of but $15 if you buy in advance. Also, there’s a VIP experience for $75 that includes two tickets, a reserved table with champagne, and a hotel room.

They’ll be running a somewhat limited menu (as per their usual holiday tradition, no fries/fried foods, no burgers, fish & chips, ribs, etc.), but they’ll have the rest of the normal menu items along with the specials listed above. Make a reservation ASAP!

The resort is hosting a four-course prix-fixe dinner this Valentine’s Day Weekend (Friday, February 14 and Saturday, February 15) at Flying V Bar & Grill. The menu features an oyster amuse, heirloom tomato salad, a sharable 40-ounce Tomahawk steak, and chocolate cake.
