Barrio Brewing Company serves its signature microbrews along with a full menu of bar snacks, burgers, sandwiches, soups, and salads from its home in a former warehouse just south of downtown.

Opened in 2007 by Gentle Ben’s Brewing Company owners Dennis and Tauna Arnold, Barrio has since become a hot spot for family gatherings, birthday parties, and casual nights out.

Barrio Brewing Company is best known for its house-made beers, including the longest continuously brewed beer in the state of Arizona, Barrio Blonde, Taylor Jane’s Raspberry Ale, Mocha Java Stout and the prize-winning Barrio Rojo. They also offer seasonal brews: the light and refreshing Beach Brew was a recent summer special, and Pumpkin Porter is often available in the fall.

Other notable Barrio brews include Hola Hefeweizen, Rae’s Grapefruit IPA, a killer white IPA named Barrio Blanco, and an homage to the University of Arizona, a traditional double English strong ale, NCAAle.

The food menu—served for lunch and dinner seven days a week—includes the popular White-Out Burger, made with sweet onions, balsamic vinegar, and sharp Wisconsin cheddar; and the Pub Fried Fish Tacos. During Happy Hour, served from 4 to 7 pm Monday through Friday, you can enjoy bar snacks like Barrio’s Beer Sponges—two homemade pretzels with beer mustard—and tequila-cilantro buffalo wings for affordable prices.
