The Our Lady of Lavang Vietnamese church will be holding a Lunar New Year festival called
Tet, the shortened version for Tet Nguyên ?án. It is an important celebration in Vietnamese culture and translates to”Festival of the First Day of the Year”

There will be Vietnamese food stalls serving barbequed marinated pork skewers, banh mi, glutinous rice dishes, Vietnamese puddings, coffee jelly, authentic Vietnamese coffee, and much more!

There will also be entertainment such as a lion dance, a traditional dance where performers will don a large lion costume and mimic movements to bring good fortune and luck, traditional singing and dances, bingo, game stalls, toy stalls, and so on.

Everyone is welcome, adults and children, to come and enjoy the Vietnamese Lunar New Year festivities!

The festival begins on Saturday 4 pm-9 pm and goes through Sunday 10 am-5 pm.
