Don Guerra is back again to teach his sought-after sourdough class! Learn from the founder, owner, and lead baker of Tucson’s Barrio Bread.

Come learn how to bake a perfect sourdough loaf with Don Guerra of Barrio Bread!

Within this hands-on class, you’ll get to learn the science behind the dough, how to keep your starter alive and happy, and the secrets of artisanal bread making. Each participant will receive a sourdough starter and will make a loaf of bread to take home and bake.

The class will take place on the back patio of the Tucson Village Farm 4-H Healthy Living Center located at 2201 E. Roger Rd.

Tucson Village Farm will provide light refreshments and of course you’ll get to sample some Barrio Bread.

Please note: This class takes place outdoors under a shaded patio with a large fan. If we need to postpone due to rain, your ticket will automatically transfer to our rain date on Saturday, March 29th, from 9am to 1pm. PLEASE SAVE THIS DATE IN YOUR CALENDAR.

We will refund tickets up to 7 days prior to the event. After that, your ticket becomes non-refundable.

@Tucsondoobie’s infused dinner series returns Sunday, Sept. 20, with chefs @chefmattlove and @chefroselena!🌿

The five-course dinner features playful takes on familiar favorites, including carne asada frites, a Sonoran hot dog-inspired tarte tatin, and a Gansito-inspired chocolate dessert.

The dinner runs from 6–9 pm near downtown Tucson. Tickets include the five-course meal, mocktails, sponsor experiences, a gift bag, and @tucsonprimeleaf product samples.
