Rewild your tastebuds

Fri, May 31, 20246:00 PM – 9:00 PM MST

SAVE THE DATE for THIS Friday for a celebration of desert foods! Did you know that June and July some of our favorite foods are ready for harvest? Have you ever wanted to learn how to harvest or prepare certain desert foods? Join @desert_harvesters as they preview a new series of videos made by Ashley Stinnett.
Come for the food—we will feature samples of nibbles with ingredients from @missiongarden @iskashitaa_rn and more!
We will have specialty cocktails and mocktails featuring mulberry, prickly pear, and creosote.
Cookbooks from @desert_harvesters will be for sale and hopefully we can all share tips and safe harvesting practices for the season!

Tucson’s barbecue options range from food trucks to full-service dining rooms. Some focus on classic Texas-style plates with butcher paper and simple sides. Others experiment with fusion dishes that blend barbecue with Mexican and Southwestern flavors. This variety gives diners plenty of options, whether they want a quick lunch or a sit-down meal.
