Enjoy a farm-fresh dinner with Chef Devon Sanner exploring crops and cultures along the 32nd parallel, starting right here in Tucson.

A Farm-Fresh Evening with Chef Devon Sanner

Publicidad

A single line of latitude connects Tucson to Mexico, Morocco, the Mediterranean, the Middle East, India, China, and Japan.

Join Chef Devon Sanner for a one-night, farm-fresh culinary journey along the 32nd parallel, where shared climate and crops give rise to wildly different food traditions. This immersive dinner explores how the same sun, soil, and seasons shape flavors across cultures, using ingredients grown right here in similar conditions.

A Tucson native and celebrated figure in the local food scene, Chef Devon brings more than 15 years of professional experience to the table. He trained and cooked alongside Janos Wilder, a James Beard Award-winning chef and one of the pioneers of Southwestern cuisine, and later became co-owner of Zio Peppe, widely known for its inventive, vegetable-forward Italian cooking and deep commitment to local farms.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Catalina Mountains, enjoy an evening of delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a breathtaking sunset. Guests will also have the chance to take part in our silent auction, featuring an exciting selection of items, with details coming soon.

Come hungry. Leave traveled.

Event Schedule
5:00 PM – Doors open, farm tours, beverages, and silent auction
6:00 PM – Dinner begins (live auction to follow)
8:00/8:15PM – Event concludes

Tucson Village Farm stands as a cornerstone of the 4-H Youth Development program and is proudly affiliated with Pima County Cooperative Extension and the University of Arizona College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. After 4pm, @Talegacoffee at 177 N. Church Ave. transforms into @_Velvetcowboy, serving cocktails, tapas, and late-night bar energy. Velvet Cowboy’s grand opening is Oct. 16, with upcoming events including drag brunches, DJs, and live music.🪩

This weekend’s hours are Saturday from 2pm to midnight and Sunday from noon to 10pm. Featured in this video is the Chilte(penis) martini special, made with chiltepin vodka, agua de chiltepin, and pickle juice, available until they sell out.🍸

“Opening this place feels a little surreal. To now have a space where we can bring together coffee, food, art, booze, and all the weird things we love feels like a reflection of how far we’ve come.” —Tyler Melo
