California Meets Hawaii At Kingfisher For Summer Road Trip Menu

California Meets Hawaii At Kingfisher For Summer Road Trip Menu

Jul 27, 20151 min read

Considering the comparable climates, similar cultures and the large body of water they share, California and Hawaii are aĀ natural culinary combination.

Kingfisher chef and owner Jim Murphy has united the seasonal flavors of both coastal cuisines for an indulgent two-week menu.

Kingfisher’s Summer Road Trip returned Wednesday, July 15 for the California – Hawaii tour. The menu features a variety of seafood, macadamia nuts, and fruit with a Japanese influence, like Tako Poke (octopus), Grilled MonchongĀ (a Hawaiian term for deep sea pomfret) with wasabi ginger vinaigrette, andĀ aĀ Macadamia Nut TartletĀ with coconut sorbet and roasted pineapple.

The menu is available until August 3.
