With the holidays come candy canes, Christmas cookies, eggnog, and other unhealthy guilty pleasures.
But Robeks Fresh Juices & Smoothies is also offering holiday indulgences — and they’re healthy!
Until Saturday, December 31, Robeks is offering three “Healthy Holiday Indulgences” that aren’t typically found at smoothie shops, and are made without any added sugars or artificial flavors. The creations are said to satisfy holiday cravings with natural and healthy ingredients.
The first smoothie on the Healthy Holiday Indulgences menu is the Apple Orchard Smoothie, which is made with fresh apple, pineapple, frozen yogurt, nutmeg, and raw honey. It’s described as “a taste as crisp as an autumn breeze.”
Next, Robeks is offering the Shake Your Carrot Cake Smoothie. The carrot smoothie features a blend of fresh carrot juice and vanilla almond milk with frozen yogurt, pineapple, coconut, cinnamon, nutmeg, and raw honey.
The last special is the Pumpkin Harvest Bowl. The bowl has a pumpkin base and is packed with banana, frozen yogurt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and chia seeds. On top, the bowl features walnuts, raw honey, and a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg “for a flavor and texture that will make pumpkin spice loves rejoice.”
If you so wish, both of the smoothies can also be turned into a bowl, and the Pumpkin Harvest Bowl can also be turned into a smoothie.
“A lot of these flavors are normally associated with unhealthy indulgences,” Robeks Director of Marketing Matt Furman said. “But our versions stay true to our brand by giving guests that holiday spice flavor while still being a healthy choice.”
“This offers us an opportunity to take part in some of the popular and festive holiday flavors that we haven’t experimented with much in the past,” Furman said.
