40+ Vendors are Poppin’ up at This Weekend’s Vegan Night Market

Dec 1, 20232 min read

“It’s exciting how big this has gotten,” said Shane Reiser, Head Foodie. “It’s been so much fun organizing it and working with vendors. We’re so proud and humbled to see the large crowds show up every time — it’s a great vibe!”

The Vegan Night Market and @DeathFreeFoodie are back with more food and even more space! It’s all going down on Saturday, December 2 from 7 – 11 p.m. at Owls Club (236 S. Scott Ave.) and the entire lawn surrounding the Children’s Museum (200 S. Sixth Ave.).

This weekend’s event (rain or shine!) will have more than 40 vendors including food trucks, local vegan makers, free professional photos, and two DJs to keep the party going. Plus, keep an eye out for Yanni the Yeti from Wonky Times! Have your camera ready because he’ll be stompin’ around the premises of Owls Club and the Children’s Museum lawn.

Also, if you’ve got an ugly Christmas sweater, iron out the wrinkles and show it off during the market.

Keep scrolling to see this weekend’s vendors and we even have a map. Start planning your vegan adventure!

Participating Vegan Night Market Vendors

Specials for Tucson Foodie Insiders

Attention, Insiders! In the Tucson Foodie app, navigate to the “Insiders” section and you’ll find multiple deals and freebies from 16 of our participating vendors. Just show each vendor the app and click the checkbox next to each goodie. Have fun and thanks for supporting local!

All of this couldn’t have happened without the support of our sponsors Originate, People’s Power, Peach Properties, Children’s Museum Tucson, and Brings.

Parking Options

There’s plenty of parking downtown, whether it be at any of the meters (they’re free after 5 p.m.) or in a nearby garage. Heck, park on the west side of I-10 near the MSA Annex and hop on the Sun Link. You’ll be at the market quicker than the amount of time it takes to read the ingredients on a package of bologna.

The Vegan Night Market is family-friendly, including your fur babies in the outdoor area — 21+ in the bar.

The Vegan Night Market will be located at Owls Club, 236 S. Scott Ave., and across the street at the Children’s Museum lawn, 200 S. Sixth Ave. For more information, visit vnm.tucsonfoodie.com. To keep up with the latest, follow Death Free Foodie on Instagram.

Opened in 2023, @kabulcorner is Tucson’s only Afghan restaurant, created to provide jobs, community, and a taste of home for Afghan families who made Tucson their new home.

Today, Sediq Haidari and his family serve traditional Afghan dishes like bolani, mantou, Kabuli palaw, fresh tandoori naan, and house-made chaka, while preserving recipes and traditions rooted in Afghanistan’s rich history.

With its warm hospitality, authentic food, and strong sense of community, Kabul Corner has become a little piece of home in the Sonoran Desert. ❤️

“These dishes are famous not only in Afghanistan, but in neighboring countries like Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Iran, and even parts of China. It sits right between Indian and Arabic food.” Sediq Haidari
