Tucson Originals returns with one of the city’s most anticipated food events: the 2026 Pizza Throwdown & Dessert Duel. Join us on Saturday, May 23rd from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Fresco Pizzeria & Pastaria  for a night of incredible local pizza, inventive desserts, craft beer and local wine.

This annual competition brings together some of Tucson’s top pizzerias and pastry pros for a friendly battle of flavor and creativity. Guests will enjoy unlimited samples of both pizza and desserts while casting their votes to decide who takes home this year’s Pizza Throwdown Champion and Dessert Duel Winner.
