It’s no surprise that Smashburger, known as the nation’s “better burger” restaurant, is opening a third location in Southern Arizona. On Wednesday, March 5, 2014, the newest location will open at 6970 E. 22nd St., Tucson, AZ 85710 (Eastpoint Shopping Center/SWC 22nd & Kolb).

Currently, the two stores that are open have experienced great success with their freshly prepared smashed burgers and exceptional service. (Located at Alvernon & Broadway; Grant & Swan.)

Serving a traditional menu made up of SmashburgersGrilled Chicken SandwichesSaladsHot Dogs, and Hand-Spun Haagen-Dazs Shakes, this up-and-coming restaurant is nothing short of delicious. Arizona offers its locally inspired recipe, the Arizona Burger, including habanero cheese, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, onion, chipotle mayo and fresh jalapenos on a spicy chipotle bun. Talk about mouth-watering, especially when paired with their tasty Sweet Potato Fries! Hungry customers can also choose from a variety of other delicious creations, such as the Arizona Cobb Salad, topped with apple wood-smoked bacon, sliced jalapenos, guacamole, cheddar, tomatoes, and onions tossed in a spicy chipotle dressing.

“I am honored to contribute to the local Tucson economy, while offering Tucson residents the burgers and food that they crave,” said Eric Wolf, the owner of all three Tucson Smashburger locations. Not only is this new opening an excitement to local “smash” fans, it’s a positive impact on the Tucson economy by creating more than 70 jobs in the market. Talk about a win-win!
