Smashburger’s third restaurant has now opened at 6970 E. 22^nd St. and is ready for biz! I got the chance to attend the media lunch at this new east side location and sample an array of their menu items, it was glorious. The tasting menu included their Classic Smash, BBQ Bacon & Cheddar Burger, Arizona Burger, Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger (heavenly), and many more!

The media lunch gave us insight on how Smashburger’s process works, including their distinctive “smash tool”, which is the key to their famous smashed burgers and sandwiches.

Perhaps the best part of the visit was learning about their secret menu, including Fried Pickles and Sweet Potato Smashfries (sweet potato fries tossed with rosemary, olive oil, and garlic)… well, I guess it’s not a secret anymore.
