Arizona’s local food system industry will gather at the Arizona Food and Farm Finance Forum on May 18 – 19 at the University of Arizona’s Environment and Natural Resources 2 Building.

The forum features speakers with experience in farming, food system development, local food marketing, and building local and living economies.

Guests will learn to bridge the gap between farmers, local food entrepreneurs, and potential investment.

The event will also feature guest speaker Anthony Flaccavento, organic farmer from the Appalachian region of Virginia and author of Building a Healthy Economy from the Bottom Up: Harnessing Real World Experience for Transformative Change.

Tickets for the forum can be purchased at the Local First Arizona Foundation and are $59 per person, $99 for both days.

For more information, visit the Arizona Food & Farm Finance Forum website.
