If you're a fan of Tucson's Mexican restaurants, love cramming a wide variety of food into your mouth, and prefer staying in one location, then the Tucson 23: A Mexican Food Festival is everything your taste buds have dreamed of.
JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort and Spa is hosting the second annual Mexican food festival, also known as the "Best 23 Miles of Mexican Food in America", on Saturday, June 17, 6 - 8:30 p.m.
Tucson fosters some of the most authentic Mexican food north of the border. Most of the restaurants, many of which are family-owned and have been around for decades, can be found within a 23 mile area that includes the city of South Tucson, downtown, and midtown.
Tickets to the all ages event are $49 per person and includes menu samplings from over 25 local wineries, breweries, and Mexican restaurants. Raffle tickets are also available for $10, which enters you to win restaurant gift cards, hotel and travel packages, and local artwork.
Weekend stay-cation packages, food demos, and live music will also be available at the event.
The festival happens to land on Father's Day weekend. So, seize the moment and treat your dad to a spicy collection of tastes, sights, and sounds.
