Stray Dogs is hosting a premiere party for its small screen debut on The Food Network’s show Ginormous Food at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 9.

In the episode, food-fanatic host Josh Denny two-steps into Tucson in search of some of the Southwest’s most monumental meals. During his visit to Stray Dogs, he sinks his teeth into their sixteen-inch-wide, chocolate-filled glazed donut called the B.F.D.

Stray Dogs’ casual atmosphere allows you to kick back with friends or your dog, watch a game on any of their 7 screens, and enjoy satisfying treats and brews.

Homemade comfort food and drink specials will be offered all night, including burgers, hot dogs, pizza, and of course, samples of their famous giant donut highlighted on the upcoming episode of Ginormous Food.

And yes, Stray Dogs actually loves dogs. Grab your leash and bring down your pooch to their dog-friendly patio that’s equipped with a play area.

The episode features other local restaurants as well.

Boca Tacos y Tequila serves up the Titanic Taco Dog, a five-pound taco piled high with pinto beans, cactus salsa and bacon-wrapped hot dogs. Lindy’s on 4th delivers a six-pound burger named The Burn Out, topped with jalapenos and pepper Jack cheese.

Stray Dogs is located at 78 W. River Rd. and the premiere party begins at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 9.
