Who will whip up the best chorizo or Sonoran hot dog that’s better than the rest in the southwest?

Desert Diamond Casino in Sahuarita is hosting the second annual Chorizo & Sonoran Hot Dog Challenge from 2- 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 24.

Tucson is known for its savory chorizo and Sonoran-style Hot Dogs and now local participants can face off and compete for cash prizes, a trophy, and most importantly, bragging rights.

Additionally, this event will feature live music, live DJs, free food samples, and several vendors.

Although admission is free, you still need to pick up a ticket at ORielly Chevrolet Tucson on 6160 E. Broadway Blvd., any participating Sprint location, or through on-air giveaways with Arizona Lotus radio stations.

Cash Prizes

• First Place: $1000
• Second Place: $500
• Third Place: $300
