If you don’t want to join the summer heat then you’re left with no other choice but to beat it.
The Tucson Convention Center is helping you do just that by hosting the Beat the Heat Sangria & Salsa Festival from 3 – 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 26.
15 different sangrias will be available to taste, along with Arizona salsas, paella, empanadas, tequila, and craft beer.
If you’d rather not get hands-on and feel like participating hands-free, take a trip to the ice luge and try one of the many types of sangrias.
Live music and artisan vendors are also joining in on the celebration as the festival makes its first stop in Tucson.
