Are you still regretting that pricey pay-per-view fight that, quite frankly, wasn’t worth it?

Well, a different kind of battle is brewing, and it’ll make you forget all about your buyer’s remorse.

Hotel Congress is hosting the sixth annual Born & Brewed Beer Battle from 6 – 9 p.m. on Saturday, September 23.

This year’s battle is keeping it strictly local, too.

Breweries will compete for Tucson’s Best Flagship Beer, Best Specialty Beer, and People’s Choice.

The event’s judging panel even includes Tucson Foodie’s very own, Adam Lehrman.

VIP Tickets are $50 and the General Admission Tickets are $30.

Each ticket includes a tasting from each competing brewery, a commemorative tasting glass, and different dinner menus.

VIP Ticket Menu

  • Sandwich station with pulled pork, roast beef, and grilled veggies
  • Ceviche and vegetarian nopalitos ceviche
  • Poblano, tomatillo, and cilantro salad
  • Chip and salsa three ways
  • Hummus three ways
  • Smoked nuts
  • Assorted olives

General Admission Menu

Additional partners Local First Arizona, Tucson Homebrew Club, Yelp Tucson, and Tucson Girls’ Pint Out will also have stations at the battle.
