When the temperature drops below 80° in Tucson it’s sweater weather to some.
It’s also time to warm up with a tasty bowl of chili.
To provide funding for the non-profit organization Send a Kid to Camp, Jonathan’s Cork is hosting another Fun Chili Cook-Off from noon – 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 7.
For more than 60 years now, the organization has helped give local, disadvantaged children the opportunity to spend a week at camp.
Tickets are $10 per person, which includes tastings out of every pot of chili in the competition, and the opportunity to vote.
