Other than being National Chocolate-Covered Insect Day, there’s something more appetizing on the very same day.

Illegal Pete’s, 876 E. University Blvd., is celebrating Free Breakfast Burrito Day from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 14.

Denver, Colorado mayor Michael Hancock created the holiday that honors the bundled breakfast item in the Mile High City, but us Tucsonans can join in on the fun, too.

But wait, there’s not a catch.

Everyone can grab one of their free breakfast burritos.

So, there’s no need to storm the entrance because they’re being given away throughout lunch until 1 p.m.

Illegal Pete’s is located at 876 E. University Blvd. For more information, call (520) 352-1340 or visit illegalpetes.com.
