The Gastronomic Union of Tucson (GUT), a team of chefs from different Tucson restaurants, has partnered with Barrio Brewing Company to benefit Wings of Women at 1 – 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 3.

Wings of Women is a non-profit organization that serves homeless women and families in Tucson.

GUT is a collaboration of over 30 local chefs and food professionals that came together to create a culinary team of creativity, community engagement, and development within in the city.

In a way to show their support for the group, the GUT chefs are cooking up something special with samples of some of their most creative dishes.

Aside from all of the food samples at Barrio Brewing Company, you may as well grab yourself a tasty beer from Arizona’s oldest craft brewery, too.

You’re asked to either bring a monetary donation of at least $10 or an unwrapped gift.

Useful Gifts for Wings of Women

  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste
  • Soap
  • Shampoo
  • Small towels
  • Gift cards (Fry’s and Walmart are great, but anything appreciated)
  • Socks
  • Underwear

  • Toys and games

Barrio Brewing Company is located at 800 E. 16th St. For more information, visit Gastronomy Union of Tucson’s Facebook Event Page.
