“Pig & Pint” event to feature roast pig, beer, whiskey at Hamilton Distillers

It’s okay to pig-out every once in a while. Your taste buds are asking for it.

Hamilton Distillers and 1912 Brewing Company are teaming up to host the first ever Pig & Pint pairing event from noon – 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 21.

Bring your appetite because there’s going to be a hefty amount of food, featuring a honey and whiskey glazed whole roasted pig paired with your favorite 1912 Brewing beer and shot of Whiskey Del Bac.

The 2017 Tucson Knife Fight Champion, chef Gary Hickey, will showcase his skills and culinary magic with whole hogs provided by local pig farm E&R Pork.

Tickets are limited to just 300 people and are $30 per person, which includes a pig platter with sides, one brew, and a shot of whiskey.

Partial proceeds are going to help support the CMB Foundation, which is an organization that strives to bring awareness to domestic violence.
