Thirsty, you are?

Star Wars Day (AKA May the Fourth) is the annual celebration of George Lucas’ Star Wars films, but you won’t need to travel to the dimly-lit Mos Eisley Cantina on Tatooine to get a good drink.

This year, a few local breweries and bars are teaming up on the holiday to bring you Star Wars deals and more on Friday, May 4.

Whether you’re an Ewok, a Wookiee, or just really, really thirsty, you can expect to find Star Wars trivia, themed environments, prizes, drink specials, and even new beer releases.

1702 Craft Beer and Pizza

1702 E. Speedway Blvd.

Sentinel Peak Brewing Company is taking over the taps at 1702 Craft Beer and Pizza, which is also celebrating its newly reopened bar, from 3 – 11 p.m.

Sentinel Peak will be bringing along its new, unnamed Star Wars-themed beer just for the event.

Feel free to dress up in your favorite Star Wars-themed outfit, too, with a chance to win new Star Wars swag and prize giveaways.

For more information, visit 1702’s Facebook Event Page.

1912 Brewing Company

2045 N. Forbes Blvd., Suite 105

1912 Brewing Company is offering plenty of fun that isn’t in a galaxy far, far away from 3 – 10 p.m.

The brewery will have Star Wars trivia beginning at 7 p.m., prizes all day, and a release of a new Star Wars-inspired beer.

For more information, visit 1912 Brewing’s Facebook Event Page.

Dillinger Brewing Company

3895 N. Oracle Rd.

Dillinger Brewing Company is fighting the Dark Side with its “Stouts of Summer” from 2 – 11 p.m. on Friday, May 4.

Dillinger Brewing will be releasing a new Monster Stout, as well as some of their previous Del Bac Barrel-Aged Stouts that have been brewing over the last couple of months.

Also, if you’re hungrier than Jabba the Hutt on a hot, sandy afternoon, plenty of burgers will be flipping on the grill inside Big Daddy’s Food Truck.

For more information, visit Dillinger Brewing’s Facebook Event Page.
