This may just be the cheesiest competition in town.
The Fourth Annual Tucson Originals Pizza Throwdown will take place at Fresco Pizzeria and Pastaria from 6 – 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 9.
This year’s Pizza Throwdown is featuring nine pizzerias that’ll be slinging out some of the best pies they have to offer, while showing off what they have for dessert, too.
Additionally, three local breweries will also participate, pouring their best for “best brew” bragging rights.
Last year, it was Fiamme Pizza that brought home the gold.
Tickets are $25 per person, and includes three drink tickets and all of the pizza you can handle.
The Tucson Originals Pizza Throwdown is happening at Fresco Pizzeria and Pastaria, which is located at 3011 E. Speedway Blvd. For more information, visit eventbrite.com.
