2018 World Margarita Championship at the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador

Come one, come all as several local restaurants and bars duke it out for Tucson's best margarita of 2018.

The Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort is hosting the 2018 World Margarita Championship at 6 – 8:30 p.m. on Friday, August 10.

Once again, the Southern Arizona Arts and Culture Alliance (SAACA) and Tucson Originals Restaurants are joining forces to deliver the best margaritas in Tucson.

After everyone’s had a taste and cast their vote, one local margarita will be crowned with the 2018 People’s Choice award.

Tickets are $55 per person, which includes drink and food samples from each competitor, and will go up to $70 on the day of the event.

If you’re looking for a staycation, the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador is offering a World Margarita Special Resort Rate at $124 a night.

Raffle Tickets are also going to be available, and you’ll be entered to win up to $2,000 in local gift cards and gift baskets.
