Rincon Market is hosting a free wine tasting event that’ll feature at least 40 wines from 4 – 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 15.

Earlier this year, owner of Time Market, Peter Wilke, purchased Rincon Market. Its wine department has since flourished with a larger variety of wines.

During the free tasting event, you’ll be introduced to unique wines from nine different countries — including varieties of sparkling, white, rosé, and red.

Aside from the tastes, you’ll expand your knowledge for holiday parties, gifts, or for the simple pleasure of impressing your friends in public.

Also, in attendance will be beverage manager for both markets, Cory Jochems, and Rincon Market’s new butcher, Danny Kretschmer. Both of them will be available to answer any questions about the wine that pop into your mind.

So, prepare your palette as light snacks will also be on hand.
