The best kind of party is a pizza party.

(GMT-07:00)

It’s been a swell time in Tucson for the Chicago transplant — two decades to be exact.

Rocco’s Little Chicago Pizzeria has plenty of reason to celebrate as it chronicles 20 years during its after-hours party from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m. on Saturday, December 29.

In order to celebrate accordingly, there’s going to be music from DJ Mike Ohno, various prizes, a cake, $1 Old Style American-style lagers, and all of the delicious food you’ve come to love.

Anthony “Rocco” DiGrazia opened the pizzeria back in 1998, and the rest was history. Much like the ever-changing sign posted out near the edge of their parking lot along Broadway Blvd., Rocco’s has gone through some small changes since opening day, but the quality remains the same.

“I really believe in the local culinary scene,” DiGrazia said. “The food has always been good since I moved here, there’s just more of it now. The independent operators are just killing it compared to other cities of this size per capita.”

Whether this is your first time visiting, or you’re returning to relive old memories at the pizzeria, this is a great chance to celebrate a local business and what it’s accomplished over the years.

Rocco’s Little Chicago Pizzeria is located at 2707 E. Broadway Blvd. For more information, visit roccoslittlechicago.com.
