The Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort Hotel is hosting the 2018 World Margarita Championship at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, August 2.
The creative event is a collaboration between the Southern Arizona Arts and Culture Alliance (SAACA) and Tucson Originals Restaurants and for the past few years they’ve aimed to deliver the best margaritas in Tucson.
If you haven’t had the chance to catch one of the previous World Margarita Championships, you may want to consider setting aside some time for this year’s event for an evening full of spirited cocktails, tastings of world class Margaritas and tequilas, and cuisine of the southwest.
Tickets are $60 per person, which includes drink and food samples from each competitor. If you snooze you’ll lose (and will have to pay $70 on the day of the event).
If you’re looking for a staycation, the Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort Hotel is offering SAACA Special Event rooms for $109 a night.
