In the strange world of fast-food chicken joints, one of them has stolen the hearts of many and it’s opening a new location on Speedway Blvd.

In honor of the newest addition to Tucson, Raising Cane’s is hosting a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting celebration at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13.

If you’ve become one of the so-called “Caniacs” then this event’s for you.

Now, it’s not just for you because of the favorable chicken, but for the freebies and giveaways that’ll transpire right after the cutting of the ribbon.

Grand Opening Special Prizes

• The first 100 dine-in customers ages 13 years and older to buy a “Combo Meal” will receive a Raising Cane’s T-shirt and a voucher for a free “Box Combo.”
• 20 Lucky “Caniacs” will receive free Raising Cane’s for a year.  The entry period is from 7:30 – 8 a.m. and the winners will be drawn between 8 – 9 a.m.
• “Giveback Giveaway” allows you to register for a chance to win $1,000 to a charity of your choice, also the chance of winning free Raising Cane’s for a year.
