Interactive show focused on the city's best restaurants.

Let the games begin.

Local comedians are teaming up for the Tucson Fantasy Food Draft at The Screening Room from 7:30 – 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 17.

To get into the spirit of all things competitive, some of Tucson’s funniest comedians are “fantasy drafting” the city’s best local food.

Here’s how it works:
  • On stage, each of the participants will draft their favorites (local) places to eat in Tucson across different categories (breakfast/brunch, lunch, dinner, coffee/tea, alcohol, and an additional wild card for a restaurant/bar in any category)
  • The choices will be moderated by the “Draft Commissioner” Joel Foster
  • The audience (you) decides who has drafted the best “team” of restaurants and bars

(GMT-07:00)

This year’s participants include Alex Kack (AKA #GreenShirtGuy)Amanda Tennyson (AKA The Steamroller)Autumn Horvat (AKA 2 Scoops), and Daniel Kirby (AKA The CANnibal).

In addition, there will be ongoing ‘expert commentary’ poking fun at the seriousness of the big sports drafts.

Tickets are $8 per person and prizes from local restaurants will be up for grabs.

The Screening Room is located at 127 E. Congress St. For more information, check out the event on Facebook
