Red Garter Bar and Grill has a reason to celebrate with food and drink specials on Saturday, November 30.
It’s a party that’s half a century in the making as the bar honors 50 years of business in Tucson. We’re sure you’ve seen the place — it’s the building with a gigantic mural of a horse preparing to prance onto Speedway Blvd.
Red Garter claims it’s now “over the hill” but once you walk in from outside and allow your eyes to adjust to the dimness of the interior setting, you’ll see why it’s been loved by so many Tucsonans over the years.
The food and drink specials have yet to be announced, but you can keep up with Red Garter Bar and Grill on Facebook for any further updates.

Coincidentally, the anniversary party falls on the same day as Wildcats Football’s final regular season game, in which they take on Arizona State University during the annual Territorial Cup. The game will be broadcast on the multiple screens spread around the bar, so picking a great spot to view it won’t be hard.
Red Garter Bar and Grill is located at 3143 E. Speedway Blvd. For more information, visit redgartertucson.com.
