The hidden speakeasy, The Still, is hosting the first annual “Le Fee Verte” and tasting event from 5 – 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 21.
La Fee Verte — or the Green Fairy — is the spirit of absinthe and is said to be an essence of artistic inspiration.
On every other day, The Still specializes in hand-crafted cocktails from the Prohibition and Pre-Prohibition Era, but at this event you’ll be joined by Tucson Meetup Absinthe Lovers Literary Guild for an evening of Absinthe tastings, mingling, history, and tutorials.

So, how do you get into this secretive party that’s influenced by a green fairy?
You’ll be allowed in if you come with someone who has been there or you can test your luck at thestilltucson.com and “break the code.” In other words, fill out the reservation request.
If you’re granted access you’ll learn the correct way to prepare Absinthe, and the members will be able to sample them as well. Also, a gourmet selection of small plates will be available.
The Still’s location is hidden, but visit thestilltucson.com for more information.
