Eight years is a big deal. For instance, it sometimes takes that long for date palms to bear fruit and up to eight years go by until a pine tree is big enough to be chopped down, tied to the roof of a vehicle, and put on display in someone’s living room during holidays.

So, it’s a big deal when a local brewery hits a milestone in that span of time. Here in Tucson, Pueblo Vida Brewing Company is celebrating its eight-year anniversary with six days of fun from Tuesday, November 8 – Sunday, November 13.
“We have lots of new beers, new merch, and a fun list of events,” Pueblo Vida Brewing shared on Facebook. “We are so excited to celebrate with you all.”
Keep scrolling because there’s a little something for everyone over the next few days, and each event will be happening at the downtown brewery located at 115 E. Broadway Blvd.
Pueblo Vida will be releasing new merchandise, hosting its weekly “infusion station,” and unveiling six different cans, including:
This day is like an 8-year-old’s dream birthday party packed with video games and specials Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle-themed pizzas made by Penelope Wood Fired Pizza.
There’s a Mario Kart tournament happening and it’s $5 per person, which includes one beer, and is a single-elimination, head-to-head bracket. You’ll want to sign up ahead of time to secure your spot.
Pueblo Vida has set aside a limited amount of De La Tierra from their seven-year anniversary and cellared it at the perfect temperature for a full year. Don’t worry because the crew checked in with it every few months to make sure it was doing okay. The De La Tierra is a collaborative Imperial Stout with Presta Coffee cold brew that was aged in Whiskey del Bac barrels and cellared for a year.
At 6 p.m., you’ll want to sign in at the taproom for “The Office” trivia because it kicks off promptly at 6:30 p.m. They’ll be giving away some fun prizes, too, for the winning team.
This day oughta be a lot of fun with Fatboy Sandos serving up the goods from 3 – 8 p.m. and then an anniversary cake and toast with Pueblo Vida Brewing’s great staff at 7 p.m. The toast will be pours of De La Tierra Imperial Stout (or whatever your favorite beer is) and the cake is from 5 Points Market & Restaurant.
If you missed Fatboy Sandos on Friday, or they sold out before you arrived, they’ll be at the brewery again from 3 – 8 p.m.
Later in the evening, a full-on dance party is taking over the taproom. Bring your dancing shoes from 9:30 – 11:30 p.m. because the awesome sound of hip-hop music will fill the area. Moonwalks are encouraged.
At 10:30 a.m., the Anniversary Pints & Poses yoga class with Shae Delgado begins, which is an hour-long session followed by a beer of your choice. It’s just $10 to join (includes your beer, too). You’ll want to get those tickets ahead of time since space is limited.
After that, JJ Sweets will be in the taproom flipping mini pancakes from noon – 4 p.m.
