On Saturday, July 22, the highly-anticipated and friendly battle of culinary excellence, Iron Chef Tucson, heated up with chef Ken Foy of Dante’s Fire, who’s defending his 2022 title, and chef Devon Sanner of Zio Peppe.
In the end, and in a room filled with hundreds of local foodies at Casino Del Sol, chef Foy was crowned champion of Iron Chef Tucson 2023.
This year, peanut butter was the secret ingredient, which impressed the panel of judges including Natalie Moe of Happily Pink and Tucson Foodie, and chef Foy’s culinary masterpieces claimed the top prize.
Next year, chef Foy will once again defend his title at Iron Chef Tucson 2024.
