Free Sustainability Workshops for Southern Arizona Restaurants

August 11, 2023
By Matt Sterner

The nonprofit Tucson City of Gastronomy (TCoG) is teaming up with Local First Arizona to host a couple of freePutting Sustainability on the Menu” workshops.

The classes, which are happening on Monday, August 14 and Monday, August 21, include free, bilingual training on affordable food business practices that improve both sustainability and bottom lines. These workshops will also provide education on affordable changes that will save energy, water, and money for restaurants and other food businesses.

There are a few extras, too, including resources and referrals to help food businesses become sustainability leaders.
