The Royal Room Celebrates 6 Years at 6th Avenue & 6th Street

"Love ya, mean it!"

The Royal Room first opened its doors in 2017 and it’s been one of our favorite cocktail lounges in Tucson.

When you’re there, you feel like the team’s friends or family (cousins, even). There’s plenty to choose from on tap and in the fridge, the tater tots are fan favorites, the sandwiches are a hit, DJ nights get the dance floor movin’, and there’s even some new outdoor seating along the front.

On Tuesday, October 17, the bar is celebrating its sixth anniversary with drink specials, free swag (while supplies last), live jams from DJ B-Rad, and food from behind the bar and outside from You Sly Dog. Plus, Blondie’s Ice Cream will be available, handing out brain freezes.

“Six, six, six,” said Ian Stupar, owner of The Royal Room, quoting the band Iron Maiden. “The number of the beast! Hell and fire were spawned to be released!”

If you can’t stop by on Tuesday, October 17, stop by as soon as possible to give them a high-five for six years. The Royal Room is open 4 p.m. – 1 a.m. on Sunday – Thursday and 4 p.m. – 2 a.m. on Friday – Saturday.

Also, there’s a daily Happy Hour from 4 – 7 p.m. Party on!

The Royal Room is located at 450 N. Sixth Ave. For more information, follow The Royal Room on Instagram or visit theroyalroomtucson.com.
