High Tea at The Still: Experience a Fancy Tea Party in a Speakeasy

November 10, 2023
By Matt Sterner

It’s a very merry unbirthday to everyone who joins a tea party inside The Still — the mysterious speakeasy hidden behind the walls of Vero Amore on 2920 N. Swan Rd.

Every Saturday and Sunday now and throughout the month of December, The Still is hosting High Tea. Reservations are required to attend one of these tea parties, too, so get decked out in your favorite tea party attire, invite your tea-lovin’ friends, and have a unique experience.

Here’s how it works:

Right now, there are two seating times at noon or 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Reservations are required with a $10 deposit and seats are $35 for each adult and $20 for kids under the age of 12.

Call (520) 667-6667 to make a reservation.

Everyone attending the tea party will be served a scone and clotted cream, jam, a small cup of soup or a mixed salad, and desserts. Plus, they’ll be offering a variety of locally sourced teas.

There are two meal options at the High Tea:
  • The Traditional Cold Special – four cold tea sandwiches: chicken salad, egg salad, cucumber, and smoked salmon
  • Vero Amore Special – includes a small slice of Margherita pizza, a caprese skewer, a small panini, and a prosciutto smoked cheese rollup
