Like a pigskin and a wide receiver, pizza and football go hand in hand. Have you ever yelled at your friends to “go long” and throw a hot, cheesy slice of pizza in their direction, but then, because you’re not as great as a quarterback as you thought, it gets stuck to the ceiling fan instead? Just me?

We’re talking about pizza here, though, and not my unfortunate situation. North Italia recently kicked off the NFL playoffs with two specialty Game Day Pizzas for a limited time — from now until Super Bowl Sunday (February 11).

These pizzas — the Calabrian Buffalo Chicken Pizza and Spinach, Kale & Artichoke Pizza — are priced at $20 each and they’re bringing all of the game-winning flavors to the field, I mean, the table. Also, they’ll be around for you to celebrate National Pizza Day on Friday, February 9.

Hand-tossed with ingredients such as house giardiniera, gorgonzola, fontina, and smoked mozzarella, the Calabrian Buffalo Chicken Pizza “brings all the bold flavors needed for a touchdown.”

The Spinach, Kale & Artichoke Pizza is handmade with fried shallots, smoked mozzarella, and zesty lemon — it brings a lighter, vegetarian option to the game and pairs nicely with shareable appetizers such as the Zucca Chips, Prosciutto Bruschetta, and Burrata Di Stagione.

As mentioned earlier, the Game Day Pizzas are available now until the end of the day on Sunday, February 11.
