Barks & Brews: Pet Adoptions, Craft Beer, Local Makers & More

February 23, 2024
By Matt Sterner

Tails will be wagging, the suds will be pouring, and local makers and businesses will be providing one-of-a-kind gifts and services — all for the love of pets looking for new homes.

From noon – 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, The Happy Hive Market and Button Brew House host Barks & Brews at 6800 N. Camino Martin #160 (at Button Brew House’s taproom and patio).

You’re welcome to bring your dogs but they’ll also be several four-legged buddies hanging out, hoping to find their perfect families. AZ Rescue Life, Rescue Me Tucson, and Happy Tails Tucson will all have furry friends for you to meet.

If you’d rather not commit to a full-on adoption, there will be the opportunity to foster a dog, too.

Button Brew House, which recently celebrated its sixth anniversary in Marana, will be providing the refreshments — beers, as a matter of fact. Enjoy it in the taproom or outside in their 4,000-square-foot beer garden while Tucson’s weather is near perfect.

Plus, 420 Taco (the food truck that “smokes everything”) will be on-site providing local tacos and more.

Cones For Bones, Ricos Threads, K9 Zen Mobile Pet Spa, Soul Kids Co., Dogs & Donuts, and Fetch Tucson will be at Barks & Brews, too, offering pet treats, food, toys, blankets, photography, training, grooming, and health services (vaccines, spay, neuter, etc).

It’s a party!

Button Brew House is located at 6800 N. Camino Martin #160. For more information, visit buttonbrewhouse.com and follow The Happy Hive Market on Instagram.
