Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona‘s signature event, Cookies & Cocktails, is happening from 6 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 28 at Corbett’s, 340 N. Sixth Ave.
Like prior Cookies & Cocktails events, there will be creative cocktails from the bar, cookie-infused beers from local breweries, and innovative cookie-themed treats from a handful of local restaurants participating in the Cookie Dessert Challenge.
You can vote on your favorite dessert, spin the “Wine Wheel,” test your luck with raffle prizes, and sip on a limited-run cocktail from the bar crew at Corbett’s.
Overall, it’s a great opportunity to learn how you can support local Girl Scouts here in Tucson — not just during Girl Scouts Cookie season.
Tickets are $100 and include all of the food and beverage tastings.
All proceeds from the evening will benefit local girls in our staff-supported program, ensuring that all girls can experience the power of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. This applies to everyone, no matter the obstacles that our changing world brings, including girls in foster care, girls impacted by incarceration, girls experiencing poverty, and girls who otherwise would not have the opportunity.
It’s officially Girl Scouts Cookie season and you’ve likely interacted with them set up outside of businesses here in Tucson. They’re currently using a hybrid model of online ordering and then traditional in-person selling. Lucky for us, the Girl Scouts share their kn-person pop-up schedule online — making it even easier to support them.
“Cookie entrepreneurs in your community are ready to get you your favorites while earning money for activities with their troops.”
Corbett’s is located at 340 N. Sixth Ave. For more information and tickets, visit eventbrite.com.
