Monthly Specials at Iron John’s Brewing (April 2024)

The long-anticipated Iron John’s Brewing opened in October 2023 at the Plaza at Williams Center, 5350 E. Broadway Blvd. #128. Aside from the nearby national chain BJ’s Brewhouse, the local taproom has deliciously filled that void when it comes to craft beer in the area.

Speaking of which, did you know they currently have a two-for-one beer deal on Monday? I mean, for me, I can’t imagine anything better than paying for one beer and getting two on a Monday. Cheers to that!

If you’re looking for something more on a Monday — or any other day of the week Iron John’s is open — they serve monthly specials at the taproom. This month, there’s a turkey burger that’ll likely induce a nap filled with dreams of two-for-one beers, and then a salad that’s a “vibrant dance of flavors.”

The following specials are available at the Broadway Boulevard location.

First up: The Plymouth.

“This hearty burger takes your taste buds on an adventure,” said Cory Carpenter, co-owner of Iron John’s. “A thick, juicy turkey patty is cooked to perfection and nestled in a spent brewery grain bun. A layer of creamy pesto bursts with herbal goodness, followed by melted mozzarella cheese that stretches with every delightful bite.”

“We then pile on the fresh toppings: crisp shredded lettuce and tangy sun-dried tomatoes that add a burst of flavor,” Carpenter added. “This isn’t your average turkey burger; it’s a flavor explosion waiting to be devoured.”

The Orange Supreme Salad is here for the month of April, too, so get on in there before it’s gone!

“This refreshing creation begins with a base of baby arugula and a medley of colorful mixed greens, offering a delightful peppery undertone and a symphony of textures,” said Carpenter. “A light and tangy lemon oil dressing awakens your palate, perfectly complementing the juicy sweetness of grape tomatoes and the tangy pop of pickled red onions.”

The goat cheese crumbles add a touch of richness, while almonds provide the satisfying crunch many folks look forward to with salads.

The centerpiece of this masterpiece is the ‘Orange Supreme,'” Carpenter added. “Fresh orange segments, meticulously segmented and free of the pith, explode with citrusy goodness in every bite. This delightful salad is a perfect harmony of sweet, savory, and creamy, making it a refreshing and flavorful choice for any meal.”

Well, what are you waiting for? Iron John’s is currently open 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Monday – Thursday, noon – 11 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Saturday, and noon – 6 p.m. on Sunday.
