The scorching heat is upon us.
There’s not much we can do about it aside from staying indoors and crankin’ the air conditioning. However, you need to get out every once in a while for a couple of reasons: to avoid cabin fever and to support local businesses throughout the summer.
With that being said, something new is brewing at 1015 S. Park Ave. and it involves burgers, smothered fries, and beer, of course. Beginning Thursday, June 6, CowPig food truck will be setting up at MotoSonora Brewing Company during the summer.
“CowPig will be serving up our delicious grub at our favorite brewery,” the CowPig team shared. “It’s the summer of CowPig! Thank you to MotoSonora for having us! Come enjoy all your favorites, plus some new additions.”
The food truck will be serving from 6 – 10 p.m. on Thursday-Saturday until the end of August.
Pizza Sonora, which is the brewery’s permanent/stationary food truck, will be closed for the summer due to electrical issues. Plan for their return at the end of the season near the end of August/early September.
Meanwhile, keep an eye out for CowPig’s brewery debut on Thursday, June 6!
In the words of local foodie Mark Whittaker, “The CowPig food truck is bright blue with cartoonish barnyard antics crashing about happily, inspired by the manic animated shorts of the Looney Tunes heyday.”
It’ll be easy to spot the food truck while driving past MotoSonora Brewing this summer. Check out Mark’s 2022 “Off the Eatin’ Path” article.
