Eegee’s has teamed up with Tucson Arena at the TCC to create a new flavor in honor of standup comedian Gabriel Iglesias.
From Friday, October 4 – Sunday, October 6, the local sandwich chain will be serving a Fluffy Chocolate Cake Eegee, paying tribute to the comedian’s jokes about receiving chocolate cake from fans.
The new flavor will be available at all Eegee’s locations including those outside of Tucson — folks from all over Arizona can “have their cake and eat it too.”
This Eegee’s beverage is considered a “premium flavor” so the pricing will be: $3.95 for kids-size, $4.24 for small, $4.84 for medium, $5.24 for large, and $6.24 for a “bigee.”
Plus, all proceeds from his Eegee will go to Gabriel Iglesias’ charity, the Esther Mendes Foundation.
Iglesias is coming to the Tucson Arena on Saturday, October 5 as part of his “Don’t Worry, Be Fluffy” tour. Tucson also happens to be where Iglesias performed his first road show.
Eegee’s is getting creepy, kooky, and altogether ooky with its Haunted Drive-Thru from 7 – 9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2 at 2510 E. Speedway Blvd.
Every brave person who enters the Haunted Drive-Thru will score a free kid-sized Eegee beverage. So, order at your own risk, so to speak, because they’ve also teamed up with the cast of Old Tucson’s Nightfall.
Keep in mind, this is only happening at the restaurant located at 2510 E. Speedway Blvd. on Wednesday, October 2 from 7 – 9 p.m. (plan accordingly). Read more.
