Here are a few honorable ways to salute veterans and active-duty military personnel on Monday, November 11.
In honor of Veterans Day, local restaurants and beverage shops are offering discounts or freebies to those who have served or are still in the military. Also, this is only a handful of local restaurants saluting troops on Monday, November 11.
Adventure idea: All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will have free admission to everyone on Veterans Day.
The Gourmet Girls will be offering complimentary meals for veterans on November 11. It also happens to be their Lucky Thirteen Anniversary. They’ll be celebrating all weekend with Pink Champagne Cupcakes for all guests, and some surprise specials for $13. Plus, new menu items like the Banana-Rama breakfast, Lemon Curd Poppyseed Waffle, and a Sourdough Bread Patty Melt is on the menu.
The bar in Marana is hosting a special Happy Hour from 4 – 6 p.m. on Veterans Day.
This is a family-friendly event with plenty of activities and they are also giving away a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
