Substance Diner, the popular vegan food truck that folks saw stationed at MotoSonora Brewing for a couple of years, moved to Screwbean Brewing in January of this year.
So, in December, the restaurant on wheels is ready to roll on and depart from its post at 103 N. Park Ave. #101.
“The food truck is leaving Screwbean Brewing and will no longer be operating on a daily basis there,” said Karl Poechlauer, owner of Substance Diner. “I am very grateful to them for hosting me this year, and now it is time for something… completely different.”
Poechlauer told his fans to keep an eye out for updates on future appearances at local events, meaning there are no plans to park at any one spot long-term.
“I have not made any menu changes other than shrinking it down to a size more conducive to a sporadic, pop-up schedule,” he added. “So, yeah, still 100% vegan.”
In the meantime, make sure to come out to Screwbean Brewing before the end of November to grab your favorite Substance bites. Also, there’s a chance Poechlauer may leave the brewery sooner if he sells out of product.
“Closed on Wednesdays, Closed Thanksgiving, Closed Black Friday, and then maybe open the following Saturday/Sunday,” he said. “Don’t delay, get your Substance today!”
For the remainder of the month, Substance Diner will be parked at Screwbean Brewing Company located at 103 N. Park Ave. For more information, follow Substance Diner on Instagram.
