Sometimes you’re in a rush and you need something pronto! Thanks to spots like The Monica, HeeMee Coffee + Bakery, Baggin’s, and other local businesses, downtown Tucson folks have quite a few options for grab-and-go goodies.
De Novo Market & Tap, over on the corner of Church Avenue and Alameda Street — across from the YMCA — is bringing even more grab-and-go options to downtown. The new market at 177 N. Church Ave. is aimed at office workers with shorter lunch breaks, but it’s perfect for anyone with serious cases of the munchies.
Open daily from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., the menu is packed with breakfast bites like egg muffins, yogurt parfaits, and banana pudding, bigger lunch options like a Chicken Caesar Wrap, Chipotle Turkey sandwich, hot dogs (vegan or beef), Italian Grinder, and an Egg Salad Sammy.
Several coffee drinks, sodas, teas, and “artisan drinks” like horchata, seasonal agua frescas, strawberry lemonade, and Arnold Palmers are there to wet your whistle.
Below is a peek at the menu — certain items are subject to sell out quicker than others since these are made for folks to grab and go.
Also, De Novo offers cocktails and beer!
“Whether you’re here for a quick coffee, a relaxed glass of wine, or a crafted cocktail to end the day, we’ve got something for everyone. Stop by and sip on something special,” the De Novo team shared.
If you need more guidance to help you find De Novo Market & Tap, it’s located at the ground floor level of the Transamerica building in downtown Tucson — the space was a former Pie Bird, which closed a few years ago.
The market is open daily from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
