Sonoran Restaurant Week: Special Dinner at the Coronet

The 10-day celebration from September 5 – 14 is back with restaurants dishing out limited-time meals at $15, $25, $35, $45, or $55.

In addition, some restaurants are shining an even brighter light on their cuisine by hosting special one-night-only dining experiences during Sonoran Restaurant Week. Each of the dinners has limited seating are expected to sell out quickly.

To wrap up the special dinner series, the Coronet at 198 W. Cushing St. will host a vegan prix fixe dinner on Sunday, September 14.

The dinner event is $85 per person and includes the following:

AMUSE

TOFU MOSAIC & CRISPY RICE

Marinated compressed tofu, crystalized ginger sticky rice, cucumber salad, serrano aioli

JYNN GENIE

philters jynn, hibiscus, grapefruit, lime, ginger beer

COURSE ONE

SEARED TRUMPET MUSHROOM SCALLOP

mezcal burre blanc, pork rind

COURSE TWO

VEGETABLE PAKORA

lightly battered seasonal vegetables, herbed beet-coconut sauce

THE ANTIDOTE

mesquite, ras el hanout, lemon, soda

COURSE THREE

SEARED LOCAL SQUASH

black bean atolé, nopales salad, roasted tomato, fried chili

TAMARIND SOUR

tamarind, pineapple, horchata, lime

COURSE FOUR

ROSEMARY HIBISCUS POACHED PEAR

candied pistachio & cocoa nibs, whipped vanilla coconut cream

  • Monday, September 8:
    • $95 multi-course dinner at BATA
  • Tuesday, September 9:
    • $125 multi-course dinner with wine & beer at Kingfisher
  • Wednesday, September 10:
    • $55 multi-course dinner with beer & whiskey at Dante’s Kitchen + Cocktails
  • Thursday, September 11:
    • Multi-course dinner at Hacienda Del Sol (details pending)
  • Friday, September 12:
    • $130 multi-course dinner with Bodega Pierce wines at Feast
  • Saturday, September 13:
    • $120 multi-course dinner at Sonoran House Sam Hughes
  • Sunday, September 14:
    • $85 multi-course vegan dinner at The Coronet
