The rather unsettling world of Edgar Allan Poe is coming to Tucson in the form of a spooky pop-up speakeasy on Thursday, June 13 – Saturday, June 15. The limited-time event is happening at The Sea of Glass — Center for the Arts, which is just off Fourth Avenue at 330 E. Seventh St.
Edgar Allan Poe historians will bring his gothic writing to life with captivating retellings of iconic tales like The Raven and The Tell-Tale Heart — complete with cocktails, of course. Throughout the experience, mixologists will shake up four signature alcoholic beverages to pair with each tale, “making sure that each drink is as deliciously decadent as the next.”
Cheers to that!
Poe me another one, please (I hope you use that line at least once during the event).
Tickets are $55 per person and that includes all four cocktails and the 90-minute show. Seating is limited so save your spot way ahead of time, and the experience is only for those 21 years and older.
